BIOGRAPHY

Lee Chaolan had a very difficult childhood to say the least. What else can be expected when someone is adopted by Heihachi Mishima himself? As a result, Lee grew up to be tough, strong, ambitious.

His capable mind eventually led to Lee running a robotics company – Violet Systems. Despite his success, the seeds of hate for Mishima family were growing within him. An adopted son wasn't comfortable with his position.

When he ran into Lars, a man who shares both his origins and goals, Lee saw a perfect opportunity to exploit him to get back at Kazuya and Heihachi. Yet, as they worked together, something changed. Lee grew fond of his new ally, and his outlook on the world itself started to shift towards brighter tones.

With Lee's technical genius and production capabilities, as well as Lars' command over the Yggdrasil group, they and their allies were ready to take on the armies that stood in their way. This heated conflict will serve as a testing ground for his new aerial vehicles and advanced combat suits. Their abilities will undergo a test that they can't afford to fail.

Personality

Lee can be perfectly described by one of his catchphrases – Excellent! He keeps a pristine public appearance, from expensive tailored suits, to his pearly white smile and perfect manners, Lee takes extreme care to always be at his best. In the past, he would show a sinister side, always scheming to get back at the Mishimas, but these days, he mellowed out quite a bit, and has a more positive outlook on life.

Gameplay

Lee has always been regarded as one of the more difficult but rewarding characters. His B2 loops provide some of the best wall carry in the game, and if you can find the timing for his just frame attacks, Lee has some of the best punishment. If you can get used to his inputs and stances, Lee becomes a very well-rounded character with good mix-ups, poking, and punishment, but taking full advantage of it requires a good amount of dedication, as such, many of Lee mains are typically character loyalists.

Fighting Style

Back in the early days, Lee's fighting style strongly resembled Jeet Kune Do, but as time went by, he started picking up more and more tricks from various martial arts to augment his arsenal. Currently, you can see many of the influences in his fighting style, Boxing, Taekwondo, Judo, Savate, the list goes on. If something is effective, you better believe that Lee will pick it up and use it to crush his enemies.
