Ed has a turbulent past, marked by his creation and upbringing under the sinister organization Shadaloo. Originally intended as a replacement body for M. Bison, Ed was genetically engineered to possess incredible power. Rescued by Balrog, the young Ed was raised by the boxer, learning to harness his Psycho Power in a unique way, distinct from Bison’s destructive style.

As he grew, Ed became the leader of the Neo Shadaloo, a group dedicated to finding a new purpose and future beyond Bison's shadow. His mission is to free others who were manipulated or controlled by Shadaloo, offering them a place in his new organization.
