The Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection launched last year, and though it's been left alone for a while, there's some big changes coming very soon.

Capcom just announced a title update for the MvC Collection slated to hit the game this week to add new features, quality of life enhancements, and quite a bit more to the experience.

We don't have the patch notes yet, but Capcom did release a trailer showcasing many of the additions being made to the game for players to get a sneak peek.

Coming this Wednesday, April 16, the MvC title update will allow users to choose between three different versions of X-Men vs. Street Fighter for the arcade that change up the gameplay and balance.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is getting an internal resolution option to increase the fidelity on the 3D aspects of the game like the stage backgrounds.

Versus Mode is being added to all fighting titles, so you can more easily set up matches and even set the victory condition amount of matches to win up to at least 10.

There's more included like quick resets from the pause menu as well, but that's not all.

New artwork from Shinkiro is being added to the game for fans to view as well as new music remixes.

The themes of Captain America, Cyclops, Jin and Captain Commando are going to receive Cap-Jams versions to listen to in the game as bonus tracks.

Many of these changes are coming not only to the MvC collection but also the Capcom Fighting Collection and upcoming Capcom Fighting Collection 2 though no date was given for those.
