BIOGRAPHY

Geras is a construct created by Kronika who seeks to do his mistress’ bidding. He is first attacked by Liu Kang and Kung Lao who defeat him but cannot kill him due to his immortality. He is able to freeze them in time and take the vials of the Jinsei he was there for and leaves with Kronika.

He is seen later coming against the Cage family at the Black Dragon Fight Club and kills or ignores everyone all in a bid to end Johnny and his family. Cassie, Johnny’s daughter, destroys him and they are able to escape before he is reconstructed. 

He also confronts Raiden later when the thunder god comes with forces to destroy Kronika’s keep. He is thrown into a bottomless pit where his regeneration would be useless. 

In the Aftermath story, Geras is reunited with Kronika, but meets his possible end at the hands of Shao Kahn who bashes him over the head with his Wrath Hammer completely destroying it. It is unknown if Geras ever reformed after this as Kronika was also defeated. 

He is brought back in Mortal Kombat 1 as the keeper of time in Liu Kang’s employ. His task is to keep things in Liu Kang’s ideal vision. His work is threatened by unknown forces messing with Liu Kang’s world. 

 

Personality

Geras is a stoic character who shows no emotions. Whether this is a means of self protection or something else is unknown. He is also incredibly loyal to whoever he is serving, meaning he is simply on whatever side his master is on.

Appearance

 

Geras is usually naked from the waist up save for some covering on his arms that looks like chainmail. He also has what looks like a power source in his chest. His back is covered in a tough-looking exoskeleton armor which extends to his neck. His lower half is fully covered with more armor and battle boots.
