BIOGRAPHY

Prior to the current timeline, Cyrax, a member of the Lin Kuei, was once a human warrior and loyal assassin. However, he was forcibly converted into a cybernetic soldier as part of the Lin Kuei’s Cyber Initiative, which sought to enhance their warriors with technology. Despite his transformation into a machine, Cyrax's humanity occasionally surfaces, and he eventually rebels against his programming, seeking freedom and redemption from the Lin Kuei’s control.

In Liu Kang's timeline, Cyrax was born as part of the Zaki, one of the Lin Kuei's sub-clans in Niger. From a young age she displayed incredible martial abilities and was placed under Sektor's command.

Personality

Cyrax is conflicted, loyal, yet compassionate. While she initially follows orders without question, her deep sense of honor and morality. She is committed to Lin Kuei's mission of protecting Earthrealm, even if that means questioning Lin Kuei himself.

Playstyle

Cyrax excels at setting up bombs and nets to control the battlefield. Her high-tech arsenal allows him to lock down opponents and create devastating combos. She has a good number of special sixth aerial versions that work well off her strings, which leave opponents in the air, or to tag a Kameo along for the job.

Appearance

Cyrax wears one of Lin Kuei's most cutting-edge armors, covered in yellow armor plating with intricate mechanical details.
