BIOGRAPHY

Across all timelines, Ashrah devotes her life to destroying what she was once a part of. As a Nethererealm Demon herself, she was supposed to embody violence toward the other realms.

However, upon discovering Kriss and its cleansing properties when it struck down demons, she turned on her fellow Nethrealm demons, choosing instead to fight the evil and violence they brought to the world, protecting the other realms.

Her almost religious devotion to slaying other demons materialized from her Kriss, through which every demon soul she destroys, in turn, rids her of a piece of evil in herself. In Liu Kang’s timeline, she once more walks this path of opposing her nature as a demon, choosing instead to help Liu Kang keep the forces of chaos at bay in this new universe.

Personality

Ashrah believes she has achieved salvation by rejecting her demonic nature and embracing the Kriss, purging her soul. It is this sense of religious fate that drives her conviction of killing the demos around her, perhaps without considering the true extent of her actions.

Playstyle

Her sword gives Ashrahh an excellent range in a fight, while also focusing on longer attack strings with a handful of strong aerial options.

Appearance

As a Netherrealm demon, Ashrah’s face features demonic indents, especially around her dark black eyes. Her almost entirely white outfit stands out in contrast, and as she is armed with a holy weapon, there is almost an angelic aesthetic to her choice of combat garments.
